Zachariah (Zach) Tyler Kendall

Zachariah (Zach) Tyler Kendall, 30 of Ft. Wayne, passed away at his home on Friday October 6,2023 in Ft. Wayne. He was born March 28,1993 in Marion to Christopher Kendall and Colleen E. (Howard) Richmond. He was a 2011 graduate of Huntington North High School. Zach was employed at Ingram Books as a warehouse associate.  He also worked as a manager and Five Guys for a number of years. He had an extraordinary work ethic. Zach was an avid reader and working on writing his third book before submitting his books for publication. He loved having fun, whether it was going to a concert or an amusement park, or the nearest “swimming hole”. He especially enjoyed those if family was involved. He loved being surrounded by his friends and family. Zach was a pure soul. If he loved someone, he loved them with all his heart.
Zach is survived by his mother and stepfather Colleen and James Richmond III, his brother Matthew Kendall, his maternal grandmother Stella Smith of Columbia City, paternal grandfather Gene (Penny) Kendall of Matthews; 15 aunts and uncles and a host of cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, grandmother Susan Kendall and his maternal grandfather Phillip Howard.
Funeral services for Zachariah will be at 2pm Friday October 13,2023 in the Serenity Chapel at Gardens of Memory 11201 S Marion Road 35 Marion, IN 46952. Friends may call from noon until the time of services on Friday. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
