Michele Lynn Cooper-Murphy, 48 of Oxford passed away at 12:17pm Saturday Nov. 3rd at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. She was born April 10,1970 in Lafayette to Edward L and Linda Kuzee Cooper who survive. She was a 1988 graduate of Benton Central High School. She had worked at Lafayette Venetian Blind and in telemarketing. On May 10,2004 in Lafayette she married Steven Michael (Mike) Murphy of Flora, who survives. Michele was a former member of the Wadena Baptist Church. She loved her nieces and nephews, her cats and NASCAR’s Kyle Bush.
Surviving with her husband and parents of Oxford, are two brothers Scott (Lisa) Cooper of Lafayette, John (Marie) Cooper of Fowler, her grandmother Ethylen R. Kuzee of Otterbein. Her beloved nieces and nephews Britany (Cameron) Brown of West Lafayette, Cortney Cooper of Oxford, Scott Edward Cooper II of Lafayette, Ryan Cooper of Lafayette, Jordan Cooper of Fowler and Evylen Cooper of Fowler also survive.
Funeral services will be at 2pm Thursday November 8th in the Chapel of Faith at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens with Pastor Randy Bergsma officiating, burial will follow in the cemetery. Friends may call from noon until the time of services.
