Michael Wendell Branham

Michael Wendell Branham, 62, of Otterbein, IN, passed away March 16, 2023, at Rosewalk Village Nursing Facility in Lafayette, IN.  He was born on August 7, 1960 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Wendell Lee Branham and Reba Lavella (Hughes) Branham. In his earlier years Mike worked as a carpenter and roofer.  He was a jack of all trades. His father, Wendell taught martial arts and Mike learned and obtained a black belt in the martial art of Judo.  He loved to sing and was a percussionist. Music was Mike’s life. He would sing and play drums in local bands and bars and was often found playing “air drums” around the house as well as singing to the delight of his family. He loved to entertain and always had a new story to tell his family and friends. Mike married Pamela (Watkins) Sheets in 1983 and even though they separated, they always remained friends. He will be greatly missed as a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and very dear friend. Mike is survived by his ex wife Pamela, son Joshua Branham and companion Rose of West Point, Indiana, daughter Crystal Branham of Otterbein, IN. He is also survived by his ex Elizabeth Owens of Ellettsville, IN with whom he had 1 daughter, Michaela Owens, sister Renee White and husband Gary of Harlingen, TX, sister Stephanie Branham also of Harlingen, TX, brother Yancie Branham and wife Maria of Los Fresnos, TX, sister Jennifer Branham and fiancée C.R. Hoke of Bloomington, IN, brother Kyle Renner of Michigan, brother David Renner of Fort Wayne, IN, brother Joe Branham and wife Amy of Kokomo, IN, grandchildren Emmy-Ann Branham and Xion Branham with a new granddaughter on the way Gianna Elaine Branham and two very dear friends Randy Renchler and Donny Hill. In addition of Mike’s parents, Mike was preceded in death by his brother Kelly Wayne Branham and sister, Candice Branham.
