April 23, 2024 at 8:13 amI worked with Ken at PRIME Lab since 1989 and knew him before that at some of the accelerator meetings that we both attended in the early 80’s. Seems hard to believe it has been that long. Ken was a fine human being; it was an honor to work alongside him at the Purdue accelerator. Learned a lot from him. Always good natured and in good spirits, an easy guy to work with and be with. I’ll REALLY miss him. Just an all-round great guy! That says it all.

Ken was loving and caring. He was a role model to everyone.

Kenneth Mueller, 75, passed away from the loving arms of his family on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
Ken was born on February 8, 1949, in Tucson, Arizona. Ken worked as a Chief Engineer at the Purdue Physics Laboratory for 49 years. He had such a passion for technology, he was looking forward to making it to 50 years. He attended Buck Creek United Methodist Church for 24 years. Above all, he loved his family.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Lydia Mueller; son, Robert Mueller; and his brothers, Jim and Kieth.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents Norman A. Mueller and Caroline (Freund) Mueller.
Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Tippecanoe Funeral Chapel.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Tippecanoe Funeral Chapel, 3631 Morehouse Road, West Lafayette, Indiana. Burial will follow. A luncheon following the service at Buck Creek United Methodist Church.
