Gary Paul McDowell

Gary Paul McDowell 74 of Logansport passed away at 10:07pm Thursday July 14,2022 at Northwoods
Village Healthcare Center in Kokomo. He was born March 1,1948 in Salem, OR to the late Donald
Eugene and Louise Marjorie Robideux McDowell. Gary was a spring coiler for 44 years. He was a
member of the steelworker’s union and an artist painter working in several mediums. On November
23,1990 he married Jill Bostic and she survives. Also surviving are a son Richard Kelly (Gina)McDowell of
Hebron, KY, daughter Angela (Fred) Schulte of Elkton, VA, and a sister-in-law Sandy McDowell of
Greentown, IN, grandchildren Amanda and Trinity Whipple, in VA. He was preceded in death by his
parents and a brother Michael F. McDowell.
He will be laid to rest at Ever Rest Memorial Park Cemetery rural Logansport. Tippecanoe Funeral &
Cremation Services is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
