Paula Elaine Yuill (55) of Lafayette went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, July 12, 2022. She was born in Yonkers, NY on October 25, 1966. She grew up in Richmond, Indiana and God orchestrated her move to Lafayette in 1988, so she could meet John Yuill. They were married on September 22, 1990. They enjoyed 31 years of marriage. Paula worked for over 30 years in healthcare, mainly as a phlebotomist in the laboratory. She loved taking care of the patients and putting them at ease.

She had a gentle touch and a calming demeanor with them. Paula loved spending time with her husband, her children, and her grandchildren. She loved planning family vacations and taking lots of pictures to remember the fun adventures she experienced.

Paula was a member of Faith Church. She was in the core group that started the North End Ministry and served as a greeter. God blessed her with the incredible ability to put others ahead of herself, and an amazing capacity to have compassion for others. She truly had a servant’s heart and the unique ability to include others in whatever she was doing. She was always building others up around her, encouraging them in whatever way they needed. God seemed to give her the words to say the right things at the exact right times. She was never ashamed or intimidated to talk to anyone about her Jesus. She could relate to people from all walks of life. She had a huge impact on so many people’s lives. She was loved deeply and will be missed more than words can say. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Thomas Hubbell. Surviving with her husband are her mother, Elaine Hubbell of Bonita Springs, FL: brother, Barry Hunt (wife Janet) of Ft. Myers, FL; sister, Kelley Gordon (husband Barry) of Indianapolis; sister, Stacey Udoni (husband Don) of Ft.
