Diane Lynne (Bolder) Burke, 75, passed away unexpectedly at her residence at Silver Birch Assisted Living Facility in Terre Haute, Indiana on September 17, 2023. She was born on July 23, 1948 in Lafayette, Indiana to Roland W. Bolder and Dorothy M. (Anstett) Bolder.

After graduating from Fowler High School class of 1966, Diane attended Purdue University and was a member of the Pom Pom Corps. She worked at Planned Parenthood in Lafayette,IN. from 1979 to 1983. Later, Diane moved to Costa Rica in 2017 where she lived with her sister Dee until 2021. She then moved back to the United States where she could be closer to her family due to health issues. She was an avid book reader and loved to play Bingo, as well as spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister and dear friend.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Mayhew (Scott) of Cloverdale, IN, her son David, sister Carol Robinson (Bill) of Lafayette, IN, step daughters; Dawn Burke, Karen Burke and Heather Burke all from Florida and brother-in-law Joseph Schalburg. Six grandchildren; Kitty Jones (Andrew) of Florida, Tank Mayhew (Kendra) of Cloverdale, IN, Ford Mayhew of Cloverdale, IN, Taylor Mayhew of Cloverdale, IN, Samantha Mayhew of Cloverdale, IN ten great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren,five step grandchildren, two step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her husband Frank Burke, sister Rolanda Schalburg and grandchild Kelly Mayhew.
