Terrance Stanton Batsford

Terrance Stanton Batsford, 77, of Lafayette, IN, passed away on November 6, 2023 at Franciscan Hospice House of Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on February 5, 1946 in Buffalo, New York. He received his degree as a mechanical engineer and worked as a supervisor at Alcoa from 1997  to 2017. He was hired as a mechanical engineer and then decided he wanted to be a maintenance supervisor and was over the machine shop for several years when he retired. He served is Country proudly in the United States Army from 1964 to 1967 in Viet Nam. A gentle loving man, who would give you the shirt off his back. He cheered on his favorite team, the Buffalo Bills, raced stock cars and enjoyed a good stiff drink. He was greatly missed as man full of life and energy and was a very dear friend. Terry is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Batsford and son Brian Batsford. He is survived by his dear friends Laurie Wesling of Lafayette, IN, Danielle Lauren of Lafayette, and Terry Allen of Chalmers, IN and his dogs Rocket and Roxy. A gathering of friends is scheduled for Saturday, November 18 th at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, 1200 Sagamore Parkway North, Lafayette, Indiana 47904 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM with funeral services immediately following at 10:00 AM with Military Honors from the United States Army.
