Patricia Ann Stanifer, 67, of Lafayette, IN, passed away April 5th, 2023, at The Springs in Lafayette, IN. She was born on April 18, 1955 in Middlesboro, KY, to the late Robert Erwin Stanifer and Nancy Jane (Brady) Stanifer. Pat was a preacher’s daughter, but that didn’t stop her from having fun and enjoying life. She was a member of Open Bible Gospel Church. She was always a free spirit who loved sunshine, motorcycles, walking barefoot and enjoying nature. She was a thrifting queen and loved Native American art. A Reeses and a Coke always made her smile. She will be greatly missed as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Pat is survived by her son, Sam Apparicio of Lafayette, IN, daughter, Tina Wilson (Josh) of Lafayette, IN, and Laura Wilson also of Lafayette, IN.
Sister, Cinde Shockey (Glen) of Dayton, IN, brother, Robert Stanifer, Jr., (Lee) of Lafayette, IN, sister, Kay Muse of Frankfort, IN, sister, Linda Leap (George) of Lafayette, IN, brother, James Brady (Bobbie) of Arizona, granddaughter Serenity Apparicio of West Point, IN as well as several other grandchildren. Pat was preceded in death by her ex-husband Donald Apparicio, parents Robert Stanifer Sr. and Nancy Jane (Brady) Stanifer, daughter, Starla Apparicio, sister, Bobbie Landreth and granddaughter Kiara Apparicio.
A graveside service officiated by Chaplain Wesley Campbell will be held for Pat on April 16th at 1pm in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Cemetery, West Lafayette, Indiana.
