Ogter Pate, 80 of Lafayette passed away at 10:02pm Wednesday September 12th at St Elizabeth East Hospital. She was born in Kennedy,AL May 6,1938 to the late Jack and Lurlie Ogden Pate. She was worked as a domestic employee. She is survived by four nieces Paulette Jackson and Vickie Jackson both of Chicago and Tracey Jackson-Green and Theresa Jackson of Ft. Wayne, and two special nieces Georgia Nance and Marie Harris, both of AL and a sister Gloria Wilson of Danbury,CT, many great-nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by a son, three brothers, and three sisters.
Friends may call from 12 to 1 pm Monday in the Chapel at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, with funeral services at 1pm. Cremation will follow.
