Kenneth Robert Halsema, 75, of Lafayette passed away on June 22, 2021, in Lafayette, IN. He was born on November 21, 1945, in Lafayette, IN to the late Samuel Halsema and Opal Louise Humphrey. On January 24, 1992, he married Tonia Halsema in Lafayette, IN.
Kenneth worked in maintenance at the Pythian Home, Indiana Veterans Home, and St. Boniface School. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and Eagles Lodge. Kenneth enjoyed fishing and loved to spend time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Tonia Halsema of Lafayette, sons Homer Halsema and Ryan (Teri Gosewehr) Baker-both of Lafayette; daughters Heather (Joe) Halsema of Fishers, IN and Sara (Cody) Barnard of Lafayette; Six grandchildren, and sister Sheri Hilt of Lafayette; a niece; a great niece; and a great nephew. He was preceded in death by his sister Bonnie.
Visitation will be from 12-2PM on Tuesday, June 29 at the Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Funeral Chapel. Services will immediately follow at 2PM.
