Randy was my stepdad. The image posted was the car he got me as a safe vehicle after an accident I had previously. He loved working on classic cars and cars in general. He would always work on it to fix it up and make it look so nice. He would try and customize it to make it how I liked it. He put speakers in it with me and a new MP3 CD player. He would work all day on it to make sure it was ready for when we need it. This is just one of so many examples of the type of man he was.
He always worked so hard on what his family needed on top of working at his job all day. He would take us to and from practices, groups, church, and school and would attend our events. He was funny always listened and would always help if you asked. His grandkids always enjoyed seeing “Grampy Randy.” He was a truly great guy and will be missed.

Jon was a graduate of Jefferson High School and we went on to receive his Associates Degree in Accounting at IVY Tech in Lafayette. Jon met and married the love of his life, Kathleen Lods and were married in Lafayette in 1992. He held various positions around the household and Jon always liked to know how things worked and how to fix them. You could often find him viewing how-to videos off on YouTube. His son, Joel, lovingly called him a “lifelong learner”. Expanding his environment and his mind as well as sharing his experiences with others.
