Gary S. Rogiers passed away December 3,2022 surrounded by family. He was born to Richard A. and Birtha M. Rogiers on January 24,1943, in Deridder, Louisiana. He graduated from Ogden Illinois High School where he excelled in basketball and track.
Gary was married to Margaret E. Rogiers on May 15,1980 and she survives. He is also survived by five children: Jaime R. (Melissa) Rogiers, Rusty S (Kelley) Rogiers, Trey (Holly) Ammann, Kate (Steve) Kintner,and Brooke (Shannon) Irvin. The light of Gary’s life are his 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
He has three brothers, Terry Rogiers, David Rogiers, and Randy Rogiers (Jim). He was preceded in death by his parents, three sister-in-laws, Liz Rogiers, Dee Rogiers, and Mary Vinard, and one great-grandchild.
Gary was an HVAC maintenance technician for the Tippecanoe School Corporation. Gary loved to see people laugh, he was ready with a joke and a helping hand. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation or St. Jude’s Hospital.
