Donald Lee Love SR better known as Don, Aged 79, Passed away on December 10th, 2023 in Lafayette, IN. He is survived by his lovely Wife of 39 years Davida Ann Love,
His 5 children Nancy Johnson of Lafayette, Donald Love JR (Tia) of Lafayette, David Love of Indiana, Brenda Runkle of Lafayette, Joseph L Runkle (Kristine Dean) of Costa Mesa, CA,
15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Father (Loren love), Mother (Thelma Davis Love Hofing) , his step father (Henry Love) and brother (Glenn Love).
Don was born in Fredericksburg, IN On August 5th, 1944. He graduated in Lafayette, IN at Jefferson High School class of 1962. He met his wife in 1983 and married on June 16th, 1984 in Lafayette, IN.
He retired from Alcoa in Lafayette, IN in 2003 after 43 and a half years. Don was an admirer and collector of many different assortments such as coins, diecast cars, stamps and Chicago Bears memorabilia.
He was an enthusiast of older classic cars, photography and loved music. What he loved most was spending time with family and friends and snapping random pictures of everyone with his fancy camera, He also loved riding his Can-AM Spyder, a three wheeled motorcycle.
Funeral Services will be held in West Lafayette, IN at the Tippecanoe Memory Gardens on Saturday December 16th, 2023 at 1 PM, viewing for friends will start at 11 AM until time of services. Pastor Nick Ahrens will officiate services. Burial will
follow at the same location (Tippecanoe Memory Gardens).
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Tippecanoe Funeral & Cremation services are honored to assist the family with arrangements.
