Theresa Doran Hession, 76 of Lafayette passed away at 8:30 am Friday August 31st at her home following a lingering illness. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland on April 7,1942. Theresa was a high school graduate. She was a devoted wife and mother and a woman of many talents. She enjoyed a variety of occupations in her life including time spent as an armed security guard in Florida. She was an accomplished artist and pianist, who loved art and music. She was married on July 24,1967 at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Lafayette to Robert W. Hession and he survives.
Also surviving are two sons Thomas Hession of Belle Vista, AK, and Robert M. Hession of Frankfort, IN, two brothers Tom Doran and Paul Doran, both of Scotland and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10 am Wednesday in the Main Chapel at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, West Lafayette, with Fr. Kyle Neterer officiating. Burial will follow. Friends may call in the Main Chapel at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens from 3 to 5 pm Tuesday.
