Randal Scott Whitesell, 56, of Clarks Hill, IN passed away in his home on Saturday March
13,2021 at 7:51 pm. He was born in Lafayette, IN on December 22, 1964 to Larry Lajoy and the
late Carolyn Kay (Unger) Whitesell. Randal graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School and
worked most of his life as a construction laborer for a local union. Randal also served in the US
Army from 1997 to 2003 as a combat engineer, supply specialist, and cannon crew member.
Randal is survived by his father Larry Whitesell, sister Marcia (Jim) Clem of Sedalia,IN, nieces
Lindsey Whitesell, Desiaraye Clem, and nephew Devin Clem. He is preceded in death by
mother Carolyn Whitesell, and brother Kevin Whitesell.
Services will be held in the Main Chapel at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens on Saturday March
20, 2021. Friends may attend the showing from 12:00pm to 1:30pm with services immediately at
1:30. Military Rites will be administered graveside at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
