Marie Antoinette Neely, 67 of Peru passed away at 4:38 pm Wednesday October 14,2020 at DuPont
Hospital in Ft Wayne. She was born April 18,1953 in Augusta, GA to the late John Wesley and Annie Lee
Neely. She served with the US Air Force. She was a Laborer. Marie enjoyed crocheting, camping, and
fishkeeping.
She is survived by her daughter Brandy Neely (Robert Knapp) of Peru, her brother Vernon Jerome Neely
of Augusta, GA, her grandson Wesley Newman, close friends Christy Mongosa and family of Peru,
Tammy Roe and family of Avon, Curt Herrell of Crown Point, Debbie Shrock and Gina Fluette. She was
preceded in death by her brother John Wesley Neely, sister Velveeta Angela Neely and her best friend
Rosie Herrell.
Celebration of life will be held at 12:30 pm on November 2,2020 at Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery.
