Junior F. Balser

Junior F. Balser 90 of Lafayette passed away at 6:05am Tuesday January 3,2023 at Bickford Place in
Lafayette. He was born in Lafayette on October 16,1932 to the late Lester and Edna Richardson Balser.
Junior was a chemical operator for Eli Lilly in Lafayette for 19 and a half years He was a member of the
Schuyler Ave Wesleyan Church. He enjoyed auto body work and auto painting. He was an avid collector
of die cast cars, he enjoyed attending auctions and loved to work. He was even an honorary
maintenance man at Bickford Place. His marriage was October 9,1952 to Marilyn J. Clark, she preceded
him in death on May 18, 2022.
Junior is survived by his children Jerry (Celeste) Balser of Casselberry, FL, Richard (Sally) Balser of
Brookston, Michael (Jetta) Balser of Lafayette, David (Sheri) Balser of Lafayette, Keith Balser of West
Lafayette, and Cindy (Bob Scott) Fox of Lafayette, numerous grand and great-grandchildren, brothers
Dwayne Balser, Herbert (Donna) Balser, and Stan Balser all of Lafayette, sisters Barbara Gerber and
Diana Bowman, both of Lancaster, OH. He was preceded in death by a daughter Linda Hart and a great
grandson Landyn Griffith, sisters Vonda Geary and Sandra Evans, and brothers Arthur, Robert, Steven,
and Dennis.
Friends may call from noon on Thursday January 5,2023 until service time at 1pm on Thursday in the
funeral chapel at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the American
Cancer Society, envelopes available at the funeral chapel. Tippecanoe Funeral and Cremation Services is
honored to assist the family with arrangements.
