    To the family of June. We became friends yrs ago. She was such a loving , caring person. She will be missed. I kept in touch with her per phone. Last time we talked she was in hospital. I am so sorry for ur loss. Janie.🌹

June Michelle Lewin, 70, of Lafayette, In passed away on May 29, 2021 at 3:15 PM at The Springs of Lafayette. She was born on November 24, 1950, in Chicago, IL to the late James Edwin Lewin and Joyce Ione Hendrickson.  June worked as an LPN at the Indiana Veterans Home until her retirement.

June was a proud member of the American Legion. In her pastime, she enjoyed shows like Longmire, Guy’s Grocery Games (loved to try new recipes from his show), playing online games (particularly Township), and loved having family gatherings and spending time with her friends. She was an avid traveler who had the opportunity to visit multiple states with her niece, Anne Marie. One of her favorite trips with her niece was when they got to meet and greet the Longmire cast members

June is survived by sons Norris (April), and Micheal Edwin (Sherry) Berry of Lafayette, IN; Grandchildren Jeffery (Sarah), Jacob, Ashley, Jasmyn, and Maya; Great grandchildren Kyler Bradley, Kenan Bradley, and Samuel Berry. Also surviving are brothers James (Carol) Lewin of Florida and Matthew Lewin of Oklahoma, sisters Linda Allen of Montana, and special friend, Judy Paxton of Illinois whom June loved very much and considered a sister. 

June was preceded in death by brothers David, Micheal, John, and Mark Lewin, as well as great- granddaughter Finley Ann Berry. 

Per the families wishes, there will be no services held at this time, there will be a Celebration of Life in the near future.

Tippecanoe Funeral and Cremation Services is assisting with the arrangements.
