Jimmie Dale Miller Jr, 68, of Lafayette, IN passed away on January 17, 2021 at 9:05 AM in St Franciscan Health. He was born to the late Jimmie Dale Miller and Phyllis Barnaby Miller on March 31, 1952 in Frankfort, IN. After receiving his highschool diploma, he served honorably in the United States Army for six years.
Jimmie was a lifetime member of VFW 1154, American Legion 492, Moose Lodge 1592, and the DAV (Disabled Veterans of America). He spent many years as a truck driver for Ready Mix Concrete.
Jimmie is survived by daughter Tammy Jackson of Decatur, IL as well as step daughters Tonya Jones and Tammy Sutherland of Lafayette. Also surviving is sister Patty Jordan of Decatur, IL; Sister in law Paula Miller of Decatur, IL; seven grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind 20 year caregiver and friend: Sue Shay. Jimmie was preceded in death by grandparents, parents, and brother: Edward C. Miller.
