On Tuesday, February 16, 2021, Jean Louise Connors passed away at the age of 77. Jean was born in Logansport, Indiana on August 8, 1943 to Richard and Marjorie Stroup who preceded her in death. Jean spent her formative years in Frankfort and Lafayette, where she graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School in 1961.
Jean married Kenneth B Connors in 1966 and was preceded in death by Ken in 2008. She will be remembered by her children, Richard (Carolyn) Bart of Lafayette, Cynthia (Raymond) Bowers of Lafayette and Marjorie (Steven) Bakeis of West Lafayette. Jean was a beloved grandmother to Catherine Grasham, Caroline Sils, and Darren Bart all of Nashville, TN, and Morgan Bart of Lafayette, Clayton Rascoe, Madison Bowers and Benjamin Bowers of Lafayette and Samuel Bakeis, Luke Bakeis and Henry Bakeis of West Lafayette. She was a great-grandmother to Gavin, Ella, Harrison, Carter, Mason, Brady and Nolan. Also surviving are two brothers, Richard Stroup of Waco, TX, and David Dick of Lafayette and a sister, Renee Kallner of Lafayette.
A private service will be held at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, with interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Almost Home Human Society.
Jean is at peace now and we pray for her eternal comfort.
