Elizabeth Jane Truax

Elizabeth Jane Truax, 65, of Lafayette, passed away at her home on Tuesday, October 11, 2022. She was born March 12, 1957 in Detroit, MI, to the late Troy Miller, Sr. and Jewel (Logan) Miller. After completing her education, she worked for much of her life as a homemaker, taking care of her family and raising her children. She married Billy Truax on December 12, 1999, and together they spent the next 20 years by each other’s sides over coming whatever obstacles came their way. Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Billy Truax; son, Scott (Betty) Ashley; daughter, Stephanie Ashley; as well as one sister, Theresa Miller; and her brothers, Troy Miller, Jr., Jerry Miller, and Tim Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 17, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Tippecanoe Funeral Chapel in West Lafayette, IN. Funeral services to follow visitation at 1:00 pm at the chapel. Burial to follow services in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Tippecanoe Funeral & Cremation Services is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
