I have had the honor of knowing and working with Don, the past 13 years. He was always there when I needed advice. He was a good friend as well as a great operator.
I was fortunate enough to run into Don for a small amount of time on the river fishing one weekend. As much as he loved his personal time on the river, he spent some of his time that day with my son and I. I’d like to think one day I will meet him again, on a river fishing and trading story’s.
From the Ruppert Family to the Cearing Family, our hearts are with you and prayers go out for you all.

I only met Don once at Ray and Kelly’s wedding. I could tell in our conversation that he loved his family very much and he was so happy to experience this special day in his son and new daughter-in-laws life. What I learned about Don that day was that he was a very soft spoken, wise, gentle-man.
Proverbs 27:19 reads, “As in water face reveals face, so a mans heart reveals the man.”
I pray that his loved ones will cherish the memories and moments he instilled in all of you.
