Donald Dale Reppert

Donald Dale Reppert, 79, of Lafayette, IN, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, November 15, 2021, in Lafayette, IN. He was born March 20, 1942 in Lafayette, IN to the late Paul B. Reppert, Sr. and Carol (Catterlin) Reppert. He graduated from Jefferson High School Class of 1960 where he met his wife, Ellen (Mink) Reppert, who survives. They were married on March 10, 1962. After completing his education, he served in the United States Navy from 1961 -1965. Donald worked for many years as an electrician for Purdue University and Tipmont REMC. He was a member of the Church of Brethren and the Moose Lodge. He had many joys in life, including watching Nascar and golf, trips to the casino, crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and chocolate candies. However, the greatest joy he found in life was the time he spent with his family, whom he loved very much. In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by his daughter, Rebecca (George) Corbin of Lafayette, IN; daughter, Jennifer VanDame of Lafayette, IN; grandchildren, Danielle Stingley of Lafayette, IN, Nicholas (Allison) Bennett of Puyallup, WA, and Katie (Steve) Greene of Lafayette, IN; and great-grandchildren. McKenzie Greene, Avery Greene, Brooklyn Stingley, Carson Bennett, and Nora Bennett. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul B. Reppert, Sr. and Carol Reppert; brother, Paul B. Reppert, Jr.; sister-in-law, Linda Goodnight Reppert; grandparents, Russell and Ethel Reppert, and Nora Finnegan; as well as his daughter, Amy Ann Reppert. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am – 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Tippecanoe Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel, 3631 Morehouse Rd, West Lafayette, IN, 47906, located off of Morehouse Road, Northwest of the cemetery office.
