David Wayne Brown, 16, passed away at Ascension St, Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN, on October 25, 2021. He was born December 26, 2004 in Yreka, CA. David grew up in Lafayette with his parents, Angela Leann Taylor and Ralph Wayne Brown, Jr. and was a student of the Lighthouse Baptist Christian Academy. David also had many joys in life, he loved to talk in accents and was especially talented at British accents, he loved musicals, had a knack for taking things apart, was a member of the quiz team, loved history, spicy foods and tried many times to get his sisters to try some.  David also was known for his curiosity, profound kindness, and for being a hard worker, who enjoyed helping others and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, David is survived by his sisters, Arrianna and Temprance; grandparents, James and Cynthia Taylor, Ralph, Sr. and Ruth Brown, and Debbi Chappell; great-grandparents, Betty Taylor, and Dorothy Jones; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, who will all miss him very much. He was preceded in death, by his great-grandfather, Arnold Jones.

Visitation for David will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Funeral Chapel with funeral services to follow immediately at 5:00 p.m. at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lighthouse Baptist Youth Department. Online condolences can be left to the family at www.tippecanoememorygardens.com.
