Cathy Ann Zdarsky, 67 of Lafayette passed away at 4:03pm Saturday August 18th at St. Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette. She was born in Frankfort on November 10,1950 to the late Robert Dale and Miriam Hunt Cochran. She was employed at Purdue University in the benefits administration dept. On May 30, 2006 in Las Vegas she married Richard Zdarsky and he survives. Cathy enjoyed travel, reading, music particularly the Beatles and Pink Floyd, she loved the old comedy TV shows like I Love Lucy. Cathy was a member of the Brady Lane Church of Christ. She also worked with Jr. Achievement.
Surviving with her husband are two daughters Beth (Craig) Martin of Lafayette and Rachel Proffitt of Lafayette, one brother Michael (Joyce)Cochran of Cumberland, five grandchildren Lillian and Lanie Martin, Ryan and Jack Stevens and Eli Harris. She is also survived by her special best friend of over 50 yrs Kathie (Dennis) Fidler of FL.
Friends may call from 5 to 8pm Friday in Faith Chapel at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens with funeral services at 1pm Saturday August 25th, with Pastor Dave French officiating. Burial will follow in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
