Carrie Elaine Powers, 39, of West Lafayette, IN, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2021, in West Lafayette, IN. She was born November 19, 1982, in Lafayette, IN, to Donald L. Scott and Mary Elizabeth (Banks) Scott. She completed her education, receiving her associate’s degree in accounting from Ivy Tech Community College. After completing her education, she enjoyed many years with her boys, watching them grow, working on crafting projects and scrapbooking.
Carrie is survived her children, Marc and Aiden Powers Scott; father, Donald L. Scott; sister, Vivian (Dan Eastridge) Scott; and brother, Josh (Latonya) Banks; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Elizabeth Scott.
