Carl Nelson Wetzel, 75, of West Lafayette passed away on May 7, 2021, at University Place in West Lafayette, IN. He was born on December 13, 1945, in Indianapolis, IN to Carl Robert Wetzel and Constance Pauline Curtis. He graduated from Northwest Highschool in 1965 before retiring from the Local 20 Sheet Metal Union.
He is survivled by his sons Jeff (Cara) Wetzel of West Lafayette, and Carl Robert Wetzel of Mt. Pleasant, Charleston, South Carolina; grandchildren Charles Wetzel and Zoe Wetzel. He is preceded in death by his brother Paul Lynn Wetzel.
Services are to be held at 10 AM on Saturday July 10, 2021 at the St. James Church which is located at 615 N 8th St, Lafayette, IN 47901. Graveside services will immediately follow.
