Bonita Lou (Bonnie) Spikes, 65 of Fowler passed away at 8:30 am Sunday at her home in Fowler. She was born February 27,1953 in Lafayette to James and Elsie Fleenor Best. Bonnie was a 1971 graduate of Benton Central High School. She worked in janitorial services at Purdue University and then at Klondike School. Her marriage was to Leo Spikes of Lafayette and he survives. Bonnie loved her grandchildren and spending time with them.
Bonnie is survived by her daughters Jami Pruitt of Fowler, Jodi (John) Lewis of Brazil, IN, her sons Shane Halsema of Lafayette and Shawn Halsema of Fowler, a sister Kim (John) Keller of West Lafayette, 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Preceded in death by her sister Theresa Brown.
Memorial services will be held December 22nd at 1pm at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Friends may call one hour prior to services.
