I love you, babe! I miss you so very much and you will forever be in my heart. Things will never be the same. I hope you are at peace and God has shown his mercy on you. I hope you are reunited with Hannah and dragonflies, unicorns and little baby hippos surround you! I am so sorry you were hurting so badly and I wish I could have taken that away. Rest in peace, my lovely angel! I love you!

My Sweet Betsy. My heart is with you. You no longer have to bear the pain. You tried so hard to fight the battles that you carried with you for many years. I hope you finally have peace. You are forever a very special person that will be missed so much.
    I love you

Betsy Marie Needham, 47, of Lafayette passed away unexpectedly Saturday, January 23, 2021.

Betsy was born in Lafayette on April 10th, 1973 to John and Carolyn Needham.  She was a graduate of Harrison High School and attended Ivy Tech.  Betsy enjoyed working at Trish’s Red Bird Café and Alpine Clinic for many years.

She was loved by many and will be missed by all.  Her happy place was on the beaches of The Gulf Of Mexico, the sound of the waves made her feel at peace with the world.

Betsy Marie was as charismatic and free spirited as they come.  Most nights Betsy could be found walking with her beloved dog Sarge, or taking a golf cart ride through the woods to her favorite secluded spot.  If you were lucky enough to be close to Betsy, she would take you along on the golf cart and tell you stories as you traveled to the rope swing.

Betsy was very proud of her green thumb and loved taking care of her plants.  She talked to her lemon tree as she made it a daily ritual.

Betsy loved being around her friends and family, when this happened a good time was had by all.  She looked forward to cooking for everyone and made sure you were smiling.

Betsy, also enjoyed taking motorcycle trips with her fiancé, Mike Crowell.

She was preceded in death by her father John Needham and her daughter Hannah Mae Blair.

Surviving Betsy is her fiancé Michael Crowell; her mother Carolyn Needham; her children Riley (Jason Bogert) Needham, Chase Blair, and Grace Blair, all of Lafayette; her step daughter Korbyn Crowell; her brother Scott (Christine) Needham and their children Lexi Needham and Drew Needham, her brother Joe Needham (Krista Knight) of Monticello, her sister Susan Needham and her children Kayla and Peyton, her brother in law Scott (Pamela) Crowell, Patience, Aubrey, Austin, Ava, and Avery; Betsy had four grandchildren that she adored and fawned over, Beckham Spicer, Abraham Bogert, Kane Spicer, and Jaxon Bogert.
