Anita Joan (Harris) Tipton was born on September 1, 1948 to Ralph and Lucille Harris. She was surrounded by many brothers, sisters and extended family growing up. Anita passed away quietly in her home on December 18, 2020. Anita had one child, whom she loved dearly, Angela(Darryl) Benn, and she survives. Anita loved all of her friends and family. She especially loved her grandson Sgt Trevor Benn of the United States Air Force, stationed in Idaho, and her granddaughter Megan Benn, who graduates from Indiana University this semester. Anita loved to laugh and make others happy. She always put others before herself and her family will never forget her.
Tippecanoe Memory Gardens & Tippecanoe Funeral and Cremation Services are assisting the family with services and arrangements.
The Family will not be having services due to Covid-19.
Plans for a celebration of life, or private family burial may occur at a later date.
