Alan Jay Logan 71 Brookston

Alan Jay Logan, 71 of rural Brookston passed away at 2:37 am Wednesday at  Golden Living Center in Kokomo.  He was born May 22,1948 in Lafayette to the late George D and Frances Ruth Allie Logan. He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War, he was stationed at U-TaPao in Thailand. He was a crane operator for Wabash National in Lafayette prior to retiring.

Alan enjoyed fishing, crossword puzzles and handheld video games. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion Post 75 and AmVets Post 91.

He is survived by his daughter Alana (Kevin) Ingram of Logansport, two brothers Gary (Frankie) Logan of Hobart, and Ronald (Sue) Logan of Lafayette, also grandchildren Skyler, Kevin Jr, Emilee and William.  He was preceded in death by a brother Warren Logan.

Friends may call from 9 to 11am on Monday January 20th in the Chapel of Faith at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, services will be at 11am in the chapel with Pastor Heath Hiatt officiating.  Military rite by American Legion Post 11.  Burial in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens will follow the services.
