Steven Mark Roudebush, 66, of Lafayette passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday August 21,2021.  He was born May 28, 1955 in Lafayette to Leland Everette and Marilyn Rae (Daughterty) Roudebush.  He was a 1973 graduate of Harrison High School.  After completing his education, Steve worked for several years as a maintenance superintendent at Gene B Glick.  His first marriage was in May of 1982 in Battleground, IN, to Mary Lou Martin.  He later met and married, Julia Kerkhof in Gatlinburg, TN on February 29, 1992. Steven was known for his love for old cars, especially his 69 Roadrunner, he also knew all there was to know about politics; however, his greatest joy was the time he spent with his family and friends.

Surviving with his mother of Lafayette are, his son, Mark E. Roudebush of Lafayette; a daughter, Jennifer R. Roudebush of Lafayette; two brothers, Jerry and Larry Roudebush of Lafayette; and a sister, Lynn R. Betz of Brookston; step-children, LuAnn Burnett, Crystal Burnett; and grandchildren, Melanie, Jordan, Teyanna, Marcus, Hayden, And niece Kayla Rich .who will all miss him very much.  He was preceded in death by his father, Leland Roudebush; his stepson Andrew Burnett; and niece, Kylie Ruth (Roudebush).

Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 26, 202 at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens – Funeral Chapel, 1718 W. 350 North, West Lafayette, IN 47906.  Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
